The team
Isabelle (aka Sap)
Isabelle is a child of the earth, primarily raised by Coastal Miwok lands and waters in the Bay Area, California. They started boxing in middle school and began training in Assertiveness and Self-Defense with Andre Salvage in high school.
They have been in the protection and healing arts for over nine years, constantly learning and growing.
They engage their creativity across mediums; including writing, drawing, body painting, caregiving, dancing, beading, sewing, teaching, learning, and more.
Care work, with both newborns and elders, has been a focal point of their past years.
They offer various support, both virtually and in-person, for babies and families during the sacred postpartum time.
They are also immersed in the world of dementia care — a beautiful, challenging, and perspective altering experience.
